Training for hurling for boys will be on Wednesday when the weather picks up.Camogie for the girls starting after the shield final in football. We are hoping to have loads of new players turn out for training. We will try to arrange more challenge matches for both teams before the league starts in March.

Mr. McEvoy

It has been a very hectic few months in St.Aidan's N.S for sports. The boys had their first match against there rivals St. Conaires and beat them 3-11 TO 0-1 with a great performance all round and by the captain Conor Tierney .Our next match was against Ballyea and we won 3-9 to 0-5. Following that we played Parteen. It was our hardest match of the round but we came out winners. The score was 4-10 to 1-9.We were through to the semi-final against Kiladysert and lost.We were winning in the first half but the tallest guy on the field was on their side and got all the ball. That is what won it it for them in the end.The girls were also in their semi-final but lost. However they are in a shield final against Cratloe. The boys have just starting their hurling season and any boy who wants to play go to training when Mr.McEvoy tells you in class. We are hoping to play St.Conaires in a few weeks.
