Taekwon-Do Champions

A huge congratulations to Tymon Zurakowski (Third Class) who came in first place at the Taekwon-Do Irish Cup Finals recently. Tymon, who is a yellow belt, won the under 10 (under 125cm) age group. He is a member of the Shannon Taekwon-Do Team. Well done Tymon!

Congratulations also to Max Michenko (Fifth Class) who came second in the under 10 category (136-145cm) and to Ellie Pyke (Second Class) who came in first place in the female under 10 category (under 125cm). Both Max and Ellie are yellow belt and are also members of the Shannon Taekwon-Do Team. Well done!



Congraulations to Emma Dalgarno (Sixth Class) who won a €40 voucher for Sky Court shopping centre. Emma received the prize for her entry into a Halloween Art Competition.

Boil, boil, toil and trouble,
Zombies coming from under the rubble.
Witches flying on their brooms,
Fireworks going off - KABOOM!
Haunted houses full of ghosts,
Bless my soul they scare me the most.
Listening to all the scary stories,
Of deadly ghouls who are so gory.
All the sweets rotting our teeth,
To make us nice and tasty to eat.
So when you go out trick or treating tonight,
Don't eat too many sweets or you'll get a fright....
BOO!

Water what a healthy drink
Please dont waste it down the sink.
We use water to wash our teeth,
To wash ourselves and wash our feet.
Plants need water to help them grow,rivers are places where water flows
So come and join us St Aidans school,
Where we think saving water is cool!!!
